Relay - CSW's weekly e-newsletter       Home   |   News   |    Act    |    Pray   |    Give   |    Contact Urgent – International Day of Prayer for Pastor Nadarkhani   Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani repeatedly refused to renounce his  faith during a court trial last week and faces execution.  His life remains very much in the balance as we wait for the court’s written verdict.   Pastor Nadarkhani was arrested in October 2009 while attempting to register his church. He was tried and found guilty of apostasy (abandoning Islam) in September 2010. Within a week CSW’s campaign has mobilised over 50,000 emails to Iranian embassies worldwide and CSW’s Facebook group in support of Pastor Nadarkhani counts over 14,000 international members.  Thousands of people worldwide are praying and protesting locally too.
